Ph.D Synopsis Format
The structure of the synopsis shall however contain the following titles given below:
- Title: The title should immediately give a clear idea of the proposed research project or the study.
- Introduction: Every research project is aimed at solving a problem. The introduction gives the necessary background to the research problem so that the reader can understand the context of what you plan to do.
- Research Objective / Questions: Research objective must be very clear and concise statements of what the study aims to achieve.
- Review of Literature: A concise review of key studies relevant to your research topic, Highlight gaps or limitations in the existing body of knowledge Show how your research will contribute to filling these gaps.
- Research Methodology
· Research Design: Define whether it is qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods.
· Data Collection: Describe sources (e.g., surveys, experiments, archives, interviews).
· Data Analysis: In this section you will explain the tools, techniques, and software use and also justify why these methods are appropriate for your research objectives.
